Ismonia x eLeMAe Collection - Catalogue Layout.
On Saturday 8 June, we asked some friends of ours who bought from the Ismonia x eLeMAe collection to model their purchases. It was a lot of fun, and a great way to get to know how our products were recieved. We had the help of Lilly’s (eLeMAe) photographer friends, Katelyn (@katelynetc) and Tiger (@photigeraphy). Typography student project. Brief was to create two spreads using features similar to The Age's 'Good Weekend' magazine, based on the article Hong Kong - Table by Table.
Classical Sans Catalogue - Brief was to create a booklet based on a group of typefaces. The booklet also had to follow a theme created by the students. I was assigned classical sans serif fonts, and together with 2 other students, we created a booklet based on a streetwear clothing catalogue. The book focuses on the classical sans serif typography but also serves a satirical examination into 'hype beast' clothing culture, like Supreme, that use sans serif type to base their design aesthetic upon.
Student project - created a book on a famous Typographer. I was assigned Adrian Frutiger, and created a booklet using Frutiger font as the main typeface.
